Don't I need fibre in my diet?

Yes! There are two types of fibre: soluble and insoluble. Contrary to popular belief, juicing only removes the insoluble fibre from produce, while retaining the soluble fibre. Soluble fibre eliminates toxins and impurities as it moves through the body, helping the gastrointestinal tract to function without irritation. Soluble fibre is most commonly found in fruits and vegetables, as well as legumes and oats.

Why should I drink cold-pressed juice?

Cold-pressed juice is a great way to get a big dose of healthy fruits and vegetables. Each bottle packs 500grams of fruits and vegetables. Incorporating cold-pressed juice into your diet can have wonderful health benefits.

"Cold-Pressed" means that the juice is extracted using a hydraulic press, which gently presses the fruits and vegetables. Because the juicing is slow, there is minimal heat and oxidation created by the process - and those are two factors that kill off nutrients. This process keeps the maximum amount of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants intact.

I'm keen on doing a juice cleanse. What do I need to know?

How many days should I cleanse?

Cleanses that last for 3 days will provide a good restart, cleansing the body of toxins and strengthening your immune system. For a more intense cleanse, you can consider our 5-day cleanse. For first timers, you may want to try a one day cleanse, and see how your body reacts - and iteratively adjust after.

How often should I cleanse?​

The frequency of going on cleanses is a very personal decision. Some people cleanse once a week, some just once a month, while others once a quarter - listen to your body and adjust accordingly. A good time to go on a cleanse will be after special occasions such as Chinese New Year or Christmas when your caloric intake increases and you consume more junk food!

Do the juices need to be refrigerated?

Yes! Our fresh & raw juices are to be stored immediately in the refrigerator. We recommend keeping the juices chilled at 1-6 degrees celsius. If you are consuming your juices in your office, we recommend bringing a cooler bag to minimize exposure to heat. If you are planning a juice cleanse, do have a fridge that is easily accessible (alongside the toilets).

Why are there two layers in my juice?

This occurs due to the varying density of ingredients that make up the juices. Give our juices a good shake before consuming! Our juices are 100% natural with no additives or chemicals.

Do you have a juice that has lower calories and lower sugar?

Sure. We would recommend our green juices - Green Machine (G1), Super Greens (G2), Celery Juice (G3).

When will my juice package be delivered? Can I select the day?

Our deliveries are on Tuesday and Fridays.

- Orders before Midday Sunday will be delivered on the following Tuesday: 8am-2pm

- Orders before Midday Thursday will be delivered on Friday: 4pm-10pm

How long will my juice last?

Our juices last 4 days. Juices that are delivered on a Tuesday will last until Friday night and juices that are delivered on a Friday Evening will last until Tuesday night. We do not use HPP or any other method to preserve the shelf life of our juice. Our juice is truly raw with absolutely nothing added.

Which cleanse should I choose?

We offer four packages suitable for everyone. If you are completely new to the world of juicing, we would recommend selecting Cleanse 1 or 2. If you have juiced before and would like a low sugar, high vegetable option Cleanse 3 is for you! You also have the option to choose the flavours you like using the Build your Own.

Are your juices suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Every product sold by Cold Press Index is 100% vegan.

Can I drink your juices if I am a diabetic?

While you should check with your doctor first, the answer is usually “NO” because of the amount of natural sugar in the fruit that is used to make our juices. We recommend consulting your doctor concerning any dietary changes.

Can I drink juice if I am lactose intolerant?

Of course! All products are dairy-free.

Are your juices suitable for kids?

Of course! We've designed the taste profiles so that kids love the juices too!


What should I do if my fruits or vegetables arrive damaged?

Cold Press Index is committed to delivering only the absolute best to our customers. Due to the perishability and seasonal nature of produce, do take a photo and send it to us - we will either offer a full/partial refund, offer you a discount off your next order or replace the item for you.

How much fruits and vegetables should I consume?

The Centre for Disease Control (CDC) recommend that adults eat at least 1.5 or 2 cups per day of fruits and 2 to 3 cups per day of vegetables as part of a healthy eating pattern. Their research reveals that just 1 in 10 adults meet the federal fruit or vegetable recommendations (MMWR). According to British Nutrition Foundation, a serving cup of fruits or vegetables is around 80grams. The American Heart Association recommends filling at least half of your plate with fruits and vegetables at each meal, with research providing strong evidence for the lifelong benefits of eating them.

What is a plant-based diet?

According to Harvard Medical School, plant-based or plant-forward eating patterns focus on foods primarily from plants. This includes not only fruits and vegetables, but also nuts, seeds, oils, whole grains, legumes, and beans. A plant based diet comes in different shapes and sizes. Semi-vegetarian includes eggs, dairy foods and occasionally meat, poultry, fish and seafood. Vegetarian includes eggs and dairy foods, but no meat, poultry, fish or seafood. Vegan includes no animal foods.
